1. Overview This inventory management application (the “App”) is owned and operated by Deniss Kolesins. This App is designed with a “privacy-first” approach. I do not collect or store your inventory data on my own servers.
2. Inventory Data & Backups
- Local Storage: All inventory data you enter is stored locally on your device.
- Google Drive Backups: The App offers an optional backup feature using Google Drive.
- This connection happens directly between your device and Google.
- I (the developer) never have access to your Google account, your login credentials, or the files stored in your Drive.
- The App only requests the minimum permissions needed to create its own backup folder.
3. Communication & Support (Crisp) To provide customer support, the App integrates Crisp, a third-party chat service. When you use the support chat:
- Information Collected: Crisp may collect your IP address, device type, and any information you voluntarily provide during the chat (such as your email address if you want a reply).
- Purpose: This data is used solely to facilitate communication between you and me (Deniss Kolesins) to resolve your technical issues.
- Data Controller: Crisp acts as a data processor. You can view their privacy policy at https://crisp.chat/en/privacy/.
4. Permissions The App may request:
- Internet Access: For Google Drive backups and Crisp support chat.
- Storage: To manage local inventory files.
- Camera: (Optional) If used for barcode scanning.
5. Data Deletion & Account Closure
You have the right to request the deletion of your data at any time. Because your backup data is stored in a hidden directory not visible in the standard Google Drive UI, please follow these steps:
- In-App Deletion: You can delete your inventory data directly within the App’s settings.
- Support Data Deletion: Upon request, I will delete your email address and Crisp chat history from my support logs. Please contact [email protected] or use the in-app chat with the subject “Data Deletion Request.”
- Revoking App Access: To fully disconnect the App and remove its hidden data storage, you can visit your Google Account Security Settings and remove access for this App.
- Processing Time: Communication and account metadata deletion requests are processed within 7 business days.
